.com.pk domain registration from Pakistan
.com.pk is the business-style address under Pakistan's own country code, .pk. PKNIC, the body that runs .pk, lists .com.pk for general business or individual use. It tells customers at a glance that you trade in Pakistan, and the same brand may still be free as .com.pk when the shorter .pk name has already gone.

Who uses .com.pk
- Registered companies and sole traders
- Shops and brands selling inside Pakistan
- Freelancers and consultants
- Startups that want a Pakistani address
- Foreign firms serving Pakistani customers
A Karachi garments exporter whose .pk name is already taken can still carry the same brand as .com.pk, and the suffix tells buyers it is a Pakistani business. We register the domain in your own name through PKNIC or a registrar, take payment in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa, and aim to file the same working day the money arrives. Because PKNIC fixes the name at registration and bills two years at a time, we confirm the spelling and the term with you on WhatsApp before we file.
Eligibility and rules
Who may register: Open to anyone, anywhere
- Length and characters: a .com.pk name can be as short as one character and up to 63 characters before the suffix; the whole domain may not exceed 70 characters. A name may not begin or end with a hyphen or contain two hyphens in a row. The labels pk, www and PKNIC's own suffix names (com, net, org and so on) cannot be registered under .com.pk.
- Fixed name: PKNIC states that once a domain is registered its name cannot be modified, so we confirm the exact spelling with you before we file.
- Term: PKNIC collects its fee in advance every two years and accepts payment for up to ten years at once, so two years is the shortest term.
- Expiry: if the renewal is not paid, PKNIC deactivates the domain and holds it for two weeks. The owner can pay and reactivate it in that window; after it the name can be offered to someone else. Fees paid to PKNIC are non-refundable and non-transferable, even if the owner asks for the domain to be deleted.
- Moving to another registrar or account: the domain must not be expired. A company sends a signed, stamped authority letter on letterhead from its CEO, director or head, naming the account the domain leaves and the one it joins, plus a copy of the signatory's CNIC. An individual sends an affidavit on Rs 100 stamp paper attested by an oath commissioner plus a copy of their CNIC. Scanned letters are not accepted; originals must be posted to PKNIC in Lahore. PKNIC confirms by phone, and the change takes about three to four working days after that.
- WHOIS: PKNIC's privacy statement says its WHOIS displays the business contact details for a domain, and that what appears is whatever the registrant chose to give. PKNIC does not mention any privacy or proxy service.
PKNIC fixes the registrant name at registration and does not change it afterwards. Type it exactly as it should appear on record when you order.
