.live domain registration in Pakistan
.live is a generic extension for anything that happens in real time: streams, shows, events, radio, gaming and online classes. It entered the internet’s root zone in July 2015 under Rightside’s United TLD Holdco and has been held by Dog Beach, LLC since 2021, with Identity Digital running the registry. If you want a short, clear name that tells visitors something is happening now, this is the kind of extension people look at.

We register new names in your own name; our .pk and .com.pk price is Rs 4,499 for two years. For .live, see the price list or ask on WhatsApp +92 339 2266645 for a quote. - Identity Digital’s Acceptable Use Policy applies. The registry can deny, suspend, lock, cancel or transfer a name used for malware, phishing, spam, botnets, fraud or copyright and trademark misuse.
- Some names are reserved, including all two-character names at first, and the registry has a premium catalogue. A premium name can cost more than a normal one, including on renewal.
- Registrant details must be kept accurate and up to date. The registry’s policy allows action against a name whose registration data is wrong or stale.
- Names use letters, numbers and hyphens, 1 to 63 characters, with no hyphen at the start or end and none in the third and fourth positions together.
- After expiry there is a grace period and then a redemption period. Getting a lapsed name back costs more than a normal renewal, so renew before the date.
Questions about .live
.live domain meaning: what does it stand for?
It is not an abbreviation. It is the English word live, used as a domain ending. It suggests real-time content such as streams, events, shows and classes. It is a generic extension, so it is not tied to any country.
Is a .live domain good for my business?
It is a good fit if live content is central to what you do, such as streaming, events or webinars. For a general shop or company site, most customers in Pakistan still trust .com, .pk or .com.pk more. Many people register .live as an extra name next to their main one.
.live domain price: how much does it cost in Pakistan?
Prices for .live change by registrar and by name, and some names are premium. We do not list a fixed .live price here. Check the price list or message us on WhatsApp +92 339 2266645 for a current quote in rupees. For comparison, our .com is Rs 2,199 for the first year and Rs 4,199 per year on renewal, and our .pk is Rs 4,499 for two years.
Will the renewal price be the same as the first year?
Not always. Many newer extensions, .live included, are sold with a lower first-year offer and a higher normal renewal, and premium names have their own renewal rate. Ask for both the first-year and the renewal price before you pay.
.live domain Pakistan: can I register it from Pakistan?
Yes. There is no residency rule for .live. We handle the registration for you in your own name and you pay in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa. See the order form to start, or our guide “How to check if a domain name is available (and why "available" is not a promise)” to see if your name is available.
Does .live help with Google ranking?
Google treats .live like other generic extensions, so the ending alone does not rank a site higher. Content, links and a good site matter more. Read our guide “Does your domain name affect Google rankings?” for the details.
