.tv domain registration in Pakistan

The .tv extension belongs to the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu, but the world uses it as a short way to say “television”. It is open to anyone, so a Pakistani creator, streamer or media brand can register it. We register new .tv names for customers in their own name, and our price is on the price list or on WhatsApp.

GoDaddy Registry (technical contact listed by IANA; won the operator contract in December 2021 after Verisign). Sponsor: Government of Tuvalu, Ministry of Transport, Energy, Communications and Innovations · minimum term 1 year · updated 2026-10-25

Price and how to order

Who uses .tv

  • YouTube and Twitch creators who want a short, video-style web address
  • Podcast and video-show producers
  • News, media and live-streaming channels
  • Online TV, drama and entertainment brands
  • Gaming and esports channels
  • Agencies that build video brands for clients

Pick .tv when your content is video, streaming or a show, and you want the address to say so. A YouTube channel, a live-stream brand or a Pakistani web-TV project can look sharper on a short .tv name than on a long .com. Choose .pk or .com.pk when your customers are in Pakistan and want a local, trusted address. Choose .com when you want the most familiar ending for any audience. Google treats .tv as a generic ending, not a Tuvalu-only one, so it does not tie you to one country. Check our price on the price list, compare the renewal with the first year, and link the name to your channel with our guide “Point your domain to Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp”. Eligibility and rules

Who may register: Open to everyone worldwide. You do not need to live in Tuvalu or show any local presence. Names use letters, numbers and hyphens, up to 63 characters, which is the normal DNS limit. A few second-level names are reserved, such as com.tv, net.tv, org.tv and gov.tv.

  • It is a country-code extension for Tuvalu, but registration is open to anyone in the world.
  • IANA lists the Ministry of Transport, Energy, Communications and Innovations of Tuvalu as the sponsor and GoDaddy Registry as the technical contact. The registry site is turnon.tv.
  • Names can use letters, numbers and hyphens, with a limit of 63 characters. We check the exact name when you order.

  • Some names are marked premium by the registry. These cost more than a normal name, and for some of them the higher price applies at renewal too, so ask us before you order a short or common word.
  • Google says it treats .tv as a generic ending, like .com, not as a Tuvalu-only ending.
  • We register the name in your own name and check availability live before you pay.

Yes. There is no local presence rule. We register it in your own name and you pay in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa.
