Privacy policy

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to sastidomains.com and to the WhatsApp conversations we have with sellers, buyers and visitors. It explains what personal information we hold, why we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it.

SastiDomains is a marketplace where owners of existing domains sell them to buyers. We are not a registrar and we are not connected to PKNIC. Registrars and PKNIC have their own privacy policies for the data they hold about a domain, and this policy does not cover them.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run a sale between two people. Apart from the server logs described at the end of this section, nothing here is collected unless you type it in or send it to us.

When you list a domain

• The domain name, your asking price and the category you pick for it.
• The lowest offer you would accept, if you enter one. Buyers never see this figure; it only tells us which offers to pass on.
• Your name and WhatsApp number, so we can reach you about offers.
• Your email address, if you choose to give one.
• The TXT record we ask you to add to the domain's DNS, which we check to see that you control the domain. We keep a note of when it passed.

When you make an offer or buy

• The amount you offer, the domain it is for and any message you add.
• Your name and WhatsApp number, so we can confirm the deal and guide the transfer.

When you pay or get paid

• Screenshots or receipts of bank, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa transfers that buyers send us over WhatsApp as proof of payment.
• The bank account, Raast ID or wallet number a seller gives us for their payout.

When you message us

WhatsApp keeps a record of our chat on both phones, as it does for any conversation. We use those messages to handle your listing, offer or question. WhatsApp itself is run by Meta and has its own privacy policy for the service.

When you just visit the site

Our web server and hosting provider keep ordinary access logs, which include the IP address of your device and the pages requested. We do not build visitor profiles from these logs.

Why we collect it

Every item above has one job. The domain name, price and category are what buyers see. Names and WhatsApp numbers let us pass offers between the two sides and keep the deal moving. Payment proofs let us confirm money has arrived before we tell a seller to transfer. Payout details let us pay the seller once the buyer confirms the transfer. We do not use any of this for advertising.

Where your data is stored

Listings, offers and the contact details attached to them are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in its South Asia (Mumbai) region, which Supabase's region list identifies as AWS ap-south-1. The site can read the public listing columns and add new listings and offers; only SastiDomains staff can see names, phone numbers, emails and minimum offers.

The public website shows only these things about an approved listing: the domain name, the price, the category, whether it accepts offers, when it was listed and whether it is available or sold. A seller's name, WhatsApp number and email are never shown on the site, and neither are a buyer's. Listings that have not yet been approved are not shown at all.

Cookies, analytics and fonts

As of 19 October 2026, sastidomains.com sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics scripts and uses no tracking pixels. If that changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.

The site does load its typeface from Google Fonts. Google's Fonts FAQ explains that when a browser requests a font, Google's servers receive the visitor's IP address, the requested URL and HTTP headers such as the browser's user agent and the referring page, and that the Fonts service does not set or log cookies. We may move to hosting the font files ourselves later, which would remove that request.

Who we share it with

We share personal details in four situations and no others.

• The other side of your deal. Once a buyer and seller have both agreed to go ahead, we give each of them the other's name and WhatsApp number so the transfer can be arranged. Until both agree, offers are passed through us and neither side sees the other's contact details.
• Banks and wallet providers. To pay a seller we have to give their bank, Raast ID or wallet number to the bank or wallet service that moves the money.
• Service providers. Supabase hosts the database described above. WhatsApp carries our messages. Google serves the site's font. Each of them processes data on their own servers to provide that service.
• Authorities. If a court order or a lawful request from a Pakistani authority requires it, we will hand over the records they ask for.

We do not sell personal information, rent out contact lists or share WhatsApp numbers with marketers.

How long we keep it

Listings and offers stay in our database while SastiDomains operates. After a sale completes we keep the record of the deal, including who paid, who was paid and the payment proof, for our own accounts and in case a dispute comes up later.

If your listing is withdrawn or an offer goes nowhere, you can ask us to delete it. See the next section.

Your choices

Send us a WhatsApp message and we can do any of the following for you:

• Access. Tell you what we hold about you or your domain.
• Correction. Fix a wrong name, number, price or email.
• Deletion. Remove your listing, your offer or your contact details from our database.

We will confirm it is really you by messaging the WhatsApp number on the listing or offer before we change or delete anything. Where a sale has completed we may keep the parts of the record we need for accounts or to answer a dispute, and we will tell you if that applies.

Children

SastiDomains is meant for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, message us on WhatsApp and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle data we will update this page and move the date at the top. For a change that affects what we collect or who we share it with, we will also message sellers with live listings on WhatsApp.
