.com domain registration in Pakistan
.com is the open domain ending that clients and customers abroad recognise without a second thought. Verisign runs it from the United States under a contract with ICANN, and anyone in Pakistan can hold one for up to ten years with nothing more than accurate contact details. We register it in your own name through a registrar and pass you the login, so the domain is yours, not ours.
Price and how to order

Search any name on the availability checker, or go straight to the order form. We confirm availability before registering, you pay in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa, and the domain is registered in your own name.
Who uses .com
- Exporters and freelancers selling to clients abroad
- Startups and software houses
- Shops moving from Instagram or Daraz to their own site
- Brand owners protecting a name worldwide
- Anyone who wants an ending every customer already recognises
A Sialkot sports-goods exporter dealing with buyers in Germany, or a Lahore freelancer on Upwork, is usually better served by a .com than a .com.pk: foreign clients type it without thinking, and there is no PKNIC paperwork or two-year minimum. You pay us in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa; we confirm the name is still free, then aim to file the order with the registrar on the same working day the payment arrives. The domain goes in your own name, so you keep full control if you ever move it to another provider.
Eligibility and rules
Who may register: Open to anyone, anywhere
- Name rules: up to 63 characters using letters a-z, digits 0-9 and hyphens, with no hyphen at the start or end (the DNS label syntax in RFC 1035). The registry agreement's reserved-names schedule reserves all names with hyphens in the third and fourth positions and all one-character names; two-character names are reserved unless released by agreement with the matching country-code manager, so in practice three characters is the shortest you can get.
- Term: a new registration can run for up to ten years, and a renewal cannot take the total past ten years (ICANN .com Registry Agreement, Appendix 7, sections 2.1 and 2.2).
- IDN support: Verisign states it complies with the IDNA2008 standard. Every IDN registration needs a three-letter language tag, and as a rule the registry rejects a name that mixes characters from different Unicode scripts. Arabic is on Verisign's script list; Urdu is not listed as a language.
- Expiry and redemption: the registry's Auto-Renew Grace Period is 45 days, though your registrar may delete the name sooner. ICANN's Expired Registration Recovery Policy makes the registrar send at least two reminders before expiry and one within five days after it; the registrar must switch off the name's DNS for at least the last eight days you can still renew, and must let you renew while it is switched off. After deletion comes a 30-day Redemption Grace Period (DNS off, transfers blocked) in which the registrar can restore the name, then a five-day Pending Delete before it is released to the public.
- Transfers: you need the AuthInfo (EPP) code, which the registrar must supply within five calendar days of your request. A transfer can be refused within 60 days of the creation date, within 60 days of a previous transfer, and for 60 days after a change of registrant unless you opted out of that lock beforehand. The losing registrar has five calendar days to object before the registry completes the move, and a completed transfer adds one year to the term, up to the ten-year cap.
- WHOIS/RDAP privacy: under ICANN's Registration Data Policy (effective 21 August 2025) the registrar must redact the registrant's name, street, postcode and phone in public lookups where privacy law requires it, and may do so otherwise; the email is replaced by an anonymised address or web form. The registrar must offer you the choice to publish those details. Public lookups run through rdap.verisign.com/com/v1/ or whois.verisign-grs.com.
Questions about .com
Can I register a .com from Pakistan without a company or a CNIC?
Yes. The .com registry agreement sets no residence, nationality or business requirement, so an individual in Peshawar can register one just as easily as a company in Karachi. You give your name, address, email and phone number; the registry does not ask for a CNIC, SECP certificate or FBR registration.
How many years can I register a .com for?
Up to ten years in a single order; Verisign's own guidance describes the usual range as one to ten years. Renewals can top the term up later, but the registry never lets the total go past ten years from the current date.
What happens if I forget to renew my .com?
Your registrar must send at least two reminders before expiry and another within five days after it. Once the name expires the registrar must switch off its DNS for at least the last eight days you can still renew, and must let you renew during that time; the registry's grace period runs 45 days, but a registrar may delete the name sooner. If it is deleted, a 30-day redemption period lets the registrar restore it, then a five-day pending-delete, after which it is released for anyone to register.
Can I move my .com to another registrar or to SastiDomains?
Yes, using the AuthInfo (EPP) code, which the current registrar must hand over within five calendar days of your request. Transfers can be refused within 60 days of the creation date, within 60 days of a previous transfer, and for 60 days after a change of registrant unless that lock was opted out of beforehand. A completed transfer adds one year to the term, up to the ten-year cap.
Can I register a .com in Urdu or Arabic script?
.com accepts internationalised names under the IDNA2008 standard. Each one needs a three-letter language tag and the registry rejects names that mix scripts; Arabic script is on Verisign's list, but Urdu is not listed as a language, so we check the exact name with the registrar before you pay.
Why do .com prices go up every year or two?
Verisign, the registry, charges every registrar a wholesale fee for each domain-year. Its 2024 agreement with ICANN lets it raise that fee by up to 7% a year in the last four years of each six-year period, with at least six months' notice; in its April 2026 results release Verisign announced the next rise, taking effect on 1 November 2026. Registrars pass this on, and our rupee prices are on the price list at /pricing/.
