Website design in Pakistan: cost and what to expect
Website design in Pakistan costs whatever the scope demands, because price depends on the number of pages, custom features, content and who handles hosting and email. A small business site needs a domain, hosting, a business email, an SSL certificate and a few pages. At SastiDomains our website packages start at Rs 11,999 for a landing page with About and Contact, and are listed on the website packages.
What a small business website in Pakistan includes
Website design in Pakistan is more than pretty pages. A working business website has several parts, and each one can be bought from a different place. Ask who supplies each part before you pay.
The usual parts are listed below. A good designer names each one in the quote.
- Pages: Home, About, Services or Products, and Contact.
- A domain name, which is your web address. See our guide “What is a domain name?”.
- Hosting, the server that keeps your site online. See our guide “Domain vs hosting: what is the difference?”.
- A business email on your own domain, such as info@yourbrand.com. See our guide “How to set up business email on your own domain”.
- An SSL certificate, which gives the padlock and https. See our guide “Free SSL certificates for your domain explained”.
- Maintenance: updates, backups and small text changes after launch.
What drives the price of web design in Pakistan
Web design in Pakistan has no single fair price. The cost moves with the work involved. We do not quote other companies' prices here. Each firm sets its own, and figures change without notice. We describe what pushes a quote up or down instead.
The biggest driver is the page count. A one-page site takes far less work than a ten-page site. The second driver is custom work: a booking form, an online shop, or a layout drawn from scratch.
Content matters too. If you supply the text and photos, the job is faster. If the designer writes and sources everything, the quote grows.
Finally, check what recurs each year. Domain renewal, hosting renewal, email and any paid theme or builder licence are ongoing costs, not one-time ones. See our guide “Domain and Hosting Price in Pakistan: What a Small Website Costs for a Year” and our guide “Website price in Pakistan (2026)” for more.
How to brief a designer
A clear brief saves money and weeks of back and forth. Write it before you contact anyone. One page is enough.
Cover these points. Say what the business sells and to whom. Say what you want visitors to do, such as call, message on WhatsApp or place an order. List the pages you need. Share two or three sites whose style you like, and say why. Send your logo, colours and photos, or say that you have none.
Decide your domain name early. A short name that is easy to say on the phone works well. Our ideas are on our guide “Domain name ideas for a Pakistani business (with examples)” and our guide “Domain name rules: length, characters, hyphens and what you cannot register”. You can check a name live on our guide “How to check if a domain name is available (and why "available" is not a promise)”.
Finally, say who will write the text. This one question often changes the price more than any other.
Questions to ask before you hire anyone
Some questions protect you more than any design sample. Ask them in writing and keep the answers.
Who owns the domain? It should be registered in your own name. A .pk name has its registrant fixed at registration, so a wrong name is hard to fix. See our guide “What is PKNIC? How the .pk registry works” and our guide “How to change the owner of a .pk domain”.
Who owns the website files? You should be able to take your site if you leave.
What are the renewal costs for domain, hosting and email, and in which month do they fall due?
Who holds the licences? Some themes and builder plugins need a paid licence. Ask whether it is in your name or the designer's, and what happens if the designer stops working with you.
Who answers when something breaks? Ask how support works and on which channel.
Can you see the domain in WHOIS under your name? Check on the WHOIS lookup.
Domain, hosting and email: the parts people forget
Many owners pay for a design and then discover the domain is under the designer's name. Avoid this. Register the domain yourself, or make sure the order is placed in your name.
PKNIC, the registry for .pk, charges Rs 2,100 per year for Pakistan-based registrants from 1 August 2026, up from Rs 1,800. It bills two years at a time. A .com is a different route and is sold through accredited registrars. Compare them on our guide “.pk vs .com.pk vs .com: which domain should a Pakistani business pick?” and our guide “How much does a .pk domain cost in Pakistan?”.
Hosting is separate from the domain. See our guide “Web hosting in Pakistan: price and how to choose”. Email on your own domain looks more trusted than a generic webmail address. You can also point the domain at a site you already run. See our guide “How to point your domain to WordPress hosting” and our guide “How to connect your domain to Shopify”.

Common questions
How much does a website cost in Pakistan?
The cost depends on page count, custom features, content and the yearly renewals for domain, hosting and email. At SastiDomains, packages start at Rs 11,999 for a landing page with About and Contact, Rs 19,999 for 3 pages and Rs 24,999 for 5 pages, each covering the first 12 months. Other companies set their own prices, so ask each for a written quote that lists every item.
What is the price of website development in Pakistan?
Website development price in Pakistan varies by scope, so no single figure applies to everyone. A simple brochure site costs less than a shop with payments. Compare quotes by asking what is included: pages, domain, hosting, email, SSL and support. Our own package prices are on the website packages.
How do I choose a website development company in Pakistan?
Ask for past work you can open and click. Ask who will own the domain and the site files, what the yearly renewals cost, and who holds paid licences. Get the scope and price in writing. Prefer a company that registers the domain in your own name.
What does a business website in Pakistan need?
A business website needs a domain, hosting, an SSL certificate, a business email and a few clear pages: Home, About, Services and Contact. Add a WhatsApp button if customers contact you there. Keep the text short and the contact details easy to find.
How can a small business website in Pakistan start on a small budget?
Start with a one-page site and a domain in your name, then add pages later. Our Rs 3,000 starter bundle includes a .com, one year of Hostinger hosting and one business email, and our landing page package is Rs 11,999 for the first 12 months. Details are on the offer page and the website packages.
Who should own my domain when a designer builds my site?
You should. The domain should be registered in your name, with your contact details. For .pk domains, PKNIC fixes the registrant name at registration, so a mistake is hard to undo. Check ownership on the WHOIS lookup before you pay in full.
Do I pay every year after the website is built?
Usually yes. The domain, hosting and business email renew each year, and so does any paid builder licence such as Elementor Pro. Ask for the renewal amounts and dates before you sign. Our renewal prices are on the price list, and some are quoted on WhatsApp.
How do I pay SastiDomains for a website?
You pay in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Sales and support run on WhatsApp. We work online and have no office.
