What is the .com domain price in Pakistan?

The .com domain price in Pakistan is set in US dollars, so there is no single rupee price. Two layers are fixed: Verisign's wholesale fee (USD 10.26 a year now, USD 10.97 from 1 November 2026) and an ICANN fee of USD 0.20 a year. Each seller adds its own margin, and the exchange rate decides what you pay in rupees.

Why a .com is priced in dollars

The .com domain price in Pakistan starts outside Pakistan. The .com registry is run by Verisign, a US company. It charges registrars in US dollars, so every seller in the world starts from a dollar cost.

A .pk name works differently, because PKNIC charges in rupees. To compare the two, see our guide “How much does a .pk domain cost in Pakistan?” and our guide “.pk vs .com.pk vs .com: which domain should a Pakistani business pick?”.

  • Registry: Verisign sets the wholesale fee for .com.
  • Registrar: the company that sells you the name and adds its own margin.
  • You: pay the seller's price, plus any card or exchange cost on your side.

The three layers inside the price

Think of the price as a stack. At the bottom is Verisign's wholesale fee, USD 10.26 per year today. Next comes an ICANN fee of USD 0.20 for each year of a registration, renewal or transfer. Verisign's figure does not include this fee or any seller markup.

The top layer is the seller's margin. It changes from one seller to the next, which is why two shops can show different prices for the same name. We explain who does what in our guide “Registry, registrar and reseller: who owns your domain?”.

  • Wholesale (Verisign): USD 10.26 per year now.
  • ICANN fee: USD 0.20 per year added.
  • Seller margin: set by each seller, so it varies.

The 1 November 2026 rise

Verisign's wholesale fee moves from USD 10.26 to USD 10.97 per year on 1 November 2026. That is USD 0.71 more, or about 6.9 percent. Every registrar's cost goes up, so expect shop prices to rise as sellers pass it on.

One detail matters if you read this before the change. Verisign bills names registered or renewed before the cutover at the old rate for the whole term bought, up to ten years. So renewing early for several years can lock in the lower wholesale cost. Whether you see that saving depends on your seller, so ask them first. More on renewals at our guide “What a domain costs to renew, and why year two can cost more”.

How the rupee and card charges change your bill

A dollar price means your rupee cost follows the exchange rate. The same dollar amount can cost more rupees next month than it did this month.

If you pay a foreign registrar with a Pakistani card, your bank converts the dollars and may add its own charges. These differ by bank, so check your bank's schedule before you pay. A foreign checkout may also add tax. These extra layers are why a low dollar headline can turn into a higher rupee bill.

Our guide our guide “How to buy a domain in Pakistan with JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast or bank transfer” covers paying without a card.

Paying in rupees through a local seller

The other route is a local seller who quotes in rupees. With us, you pay in rupees by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa, and we deal with the dollar side. You do not need an international card.

We check availability live and register the name in your own name. We aim to file the same working day your payment arrives. Unpaid orders cancel after 48 hours, and you get a full refund if the name is taken before we file. Our prices are on the price list, and many are quoted on WhatsApp. Start at the order form or search names at the domain search.

First-year offers versus renewal

Many sellers show a low first-year price. Check the renewal price before you buy, because it is often higher and you pay it every year after. The wholesale and ICANN layers stay the same; only the seller's margin moves.

Compare the total cost over several years, not just the first invoice. Ask for the renewal price in writing or on chat. Our guide “What a domain costs to renew, and why year two can cost more” lists what to check, and the watchlist helps you keep an eye on names you want.

.net and .org in the same frame

.net and .org follow the same pattern: a registry fee in dollars, the ICANN fee, and a seller margin. Verisign also runs .net. Its wholesale fee is USD 10.91 per year now, and Verisign has told registrars it will rise to USD 12.00 on 1 March 2027.

We have not confirmed a current wholesale figure for .org, so we do not quote one. For either ending, ask your seller for the full rupee price. If you are still choosing, read the list of extensions and the .com page.

For every extension side by side, see our guide “Domain price in Pakistan (2026): what you really pay”.

Common questions

What is the .net domain price in Pakistan?

It is also set in dollars. Verisign's wholesale fee for .net is USD 10.91 per year now and rises to USD 12.00 on 1 March 2027. The ICANN fee and your seller's margin come on top.

What is the .org domain price in Pakistan?

It follows the same dollar-based pattern, but we have not confirmed a current .org wholesale fee, so we do not quote one. Ask us on WhatsApp or see the price list for what we offer.

What is the Google domain price in Pakistan?

Google Domains no longer sells names. Squarespace bought the Google Domains business in September 2023 and moved its customers over, so pricing now follows Squarespace's rates. We have not checked those rates, so confirm them with Squarespace directly.

What is the GoDaddy domain price in Pakistan?

We have not confirmed GoDaddy's current Pakistan pricing, so we do not quote it. Look at the final checkout total, including renewal, card conversion and any tax.

Will .com prices go up on 1 November 2026?

Verisign's wholesale fee rises from USD 10.26 to USD 10.97, so sellers' costs go up. Names registered or renewed before that date are billed to the registrar at the old rate for the term bought, up to ten years. Ask your seller if they pass that on.

Can I pay for a .com in rupees without a card?

Yes. With us you can pay by bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash or Easypaisa. See our guide “How to buy a domain in Pakistan with JazzCash, Easypaisa, Raast or bank transfer”.

Is .com cheaper than .pk?

They are priced in different currencies, so compare the rupee total. PKNIC charges Rs 2,100 per year for Pakistan-based registrants from 1 August 2026, billed two years at a time. See our guide “.pk vs .com.pk vs .com: which domain should a Pakistani business pick?”.
