GoDaddy domain price in Pakistan: what its site showed in October 2026
GoDaddy has no Pakistan edition of its website. Opened from Pakistan in a browser on 26 October 2026, it showed its Philippines pages with prices in rupees: a .com at Rs 1 for the first year only when you buy a three-year term, otherwise Rs 4,999 a year; a .net at Rs 5,499 a year with the same Rs 1 three-year offer; and a .org at Rs 2,699 for the first year, then Rs 5,499. A search for a .pk name returned no .pk result. For comparison, our own .com is Rs 2,199 for the first year and Rs 4,199 a year after that.
What GoDaddy's site showed on 26 October 2026
We opened godaddy.com from Pakistan in an ordinary browser on 26 October 2026. The site has no Pakistan edition, so it served its Philippines pages, but it priced them in rupees. These are the figures it displayed for a test name; they are promotional and change often, so treat them as a snapshot.
The headline .com offer, Rs 1 for the first year, applies only when you buy three years at once, and the page listed Rs 4,999 a year as the regular price. The same pattern applied to .net at Rs 5,499 and .co at Rs 12,999. A .org was Rs 2,699 for the first year and Rs 5,499 after that. Its .pk product page returned a page-not-found error, and a search for a .pk name offered other endings instead.
- .com: Rs 1 first year with a three-year term; Rs 4,999 a year otherwise
- .net: Rs 1 first year with a three-year term; Rs 5,499 a year otherwise
- .org: Rs 2,699 first year, then Rs 5,499 a year
- .co: Rs 1 first year with a three-year term; Rs 12,999 a year otherwise
- .pk: not offered on the pages we saw
What we could and could not check today
A price quoted from memory goes stale quickly, and a wrong number could cost you real money. Open the page yourself, in your own browser, on the day you buy.

How to read a GoDaddy price yourself
Search for the name you want, add it to the cart and look at three things before paying: the first-year price, the renewal price, and the currency.
Many registrars show a promotional first-year price. The renewal is often a different, higher figure, and it applies from the second year. The cart or the terms near the price usually say so. Work out the total for two or three years, not only the first.
Also check what is added by default. Extras such as privacy, email or website tools can be pre-selected. Remove what you do not need, then compare the final total.
- First-year price and its end date
- Renewal price per year
- Currency shown (USD or PKR)
- Add-ons already in the cart
Paying from Pakistan
GoDaddy decides which payment options and currency it shows at checkout, and these can vary by country and over time. Check the checkout page rather than trusting an old article, including ours.
If you pay with a Pakistani bank card and the money goes to a party outside Pakistan, your bank collects advance income tax under section 236Y of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 on the amount. The tax is adjustable against your income tax for the year. We do not state a rate here because the First Schedule rates are revised and differ for filers and non-filers. Ask your bank or check the current rule with FBR before you pay, and add it to your total.
Exchange rates and bank fees can also change the rupee amount charged. A USD price is not the rupee price.
Is .pk offered, and what PKNIC charges
We could not confirm today whether GoDaddy sells .pk names, so search the exact name on its site to see. Pakistan's .pk names are managed by PKNIC, the registry. See our guide “What is PKNIC? How the .pk registry works” for how that works.
Facts we have checked: PKNIC charges Rs 2,100 per year for Pakistan-based registrants from 1 August 2026 (it was Rs 1,800), billed two years at a time. From outside Pakistan the fee is USD 15.99 per year. PKNIC fixes the registrant name at registration, and names directly under .pk need at least four characters.
More detail is on our guide “How much does a .pk domain cost in Pakistan?” and our guide “How to register a .pk domain (PKNIC rules explained)”. For the .com wholesale side, Verisign's fee is USD 10.26 and rises to USD 10.97 on 1 November 2026.
