PKNIC login: how to access your .pk domain account

The PKNIC login is on the PKNIC website, pknic.net.pk. Use the "Log in to your account" form and enter your username and password. If you have no account, choose "Sign up now" on the same page. If a seller registered your .pk name for you, you may not have a PKNIC login at all.

What the PKNIC account is for

PKNIC is the registry for .pk names. A .pk domain registered directly with PKNIC is managed from its account area. For the background, read our guide “What is PKNIC? How the .pk registry works” and our guide “Registry, registrar and reseller: who owns your domain?”.

PKNIC's account menu lists tools for your account details, password, technical contacts, billing contacts, nameservers and glue records. It also lists domain management, renewals, invoices, receipts and payments.

Where to log in

Open pknic.net.pk and find the form headed "Log in to your account". It asks for "Your username" and "Password". The site's sign-up and password links point to PKNIC's account system on pk6.pknic.net.pk.

Check the address bar before you type a password. Fake sites copy login pages, and our guide “Common domain scams in Pakistan and how to avoid them” explains what to watch for. If a link in a message looks odd, type pknic.net.pk yourself instead.

How to create a PKNIC account

On the login page, choose "Sign up now". PKNIC shows one form called "Create new account". You tick a box to agree to the terms of PKNIC's domain registration policy.

The form asks for:

  • Organization name and role name
  • Contact first and last name
  • Address, city, country, state or province and postal code
  • Email address (typed twice) and phone number
  • Username and password (typed twice)
  • A password question and answer

Forgot your PKNIC password

PKNIC's "Forgot password?" link opens a page where you enter your username. A temporary password is then sent to the email address saved on the account.

Forgot the username too? The same page lets you enter any domain name registered under the account, and the username is sent to the account email.

If you can no longer open that email address, PKNIC asks you to contact staff@pknic.net.pk.

What you can change, and what needs more

Inside the account you can manage nameservers and contacts. That is what most people need when pointing a name at a website. Use the DNS checker to see whether a change has spread.

PKNIC fixes the registrant name at registration, so a change of owner is not a simple form edit. For anything about ownership or moving a name between sellers, check PKNIC's rules or ask PKNIC first. our guide “.pk domain transfer, step by step” covers the usual routes.

If you bought through us or another seller

Many owners never see a PKNIC login. When a seller files a name for you, it may sit in that seller's account. Check who is listed as registrant at the WHOIS lookup.

If you ordered from us, the name is registered in your own name. Message us on WhatsApp and we will explain what you can access. If you bought elsewhere, ask that seller for the registrant details and a transfer or account handover. Our help page page and our guide “What is a domain auth code (EPP code)?” explain what to ask for.

If you need to pay PKNIC directly, see our guide “PKNIC prepaid cards explained: what they are and how to pay for a .pk domain”. To reach PKNIC staff, see our guide “PKNIC contact: phone, email and office address”.
